I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist and Counselor in the state of Maryland. I earned my Master of Arts in Art Therapy at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. In addition to working directly with clients in private practice, I am a board-approved supervisor for licensed graduate art therapists (LGPAT) and licensed graduate counselors (LGPC).
As an art therapist, I am part of a unique cohort of mental health therapists. Art therapy is an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the experience of life through active art-making in therapy. I specialize in using the creative process to integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology to treat Anxiety and ADHD in teens and adults. I also have experience working with clients struggling with identity, depression, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and relationship development. I currently provide individual and group services to my clients.
I believe providing a safe, non-judgmental space for therapy and creative intervention allows each client a unique opportunity to learn more about themselves and their needs.
